Reasons for brutal University killings ‘pigwa shoka’ in kenya

By : Emmanuel Situma

In recent days there has been a high rate of reported cases on brutal University killings. This happens even in broad daylight as people continue running their daily chores.Could this be a sign of eschatology
Poor parenthood-Most parents have failed to give guidance to their children especially when they join Universities.A number of parents assume their roles of showing morals to their children who have extended their education to University. Some parents especially single mothers engage in rotten behaviors that could influence the child’s being who tend to emulate wot their parents do.
Greed for money-Most University students have found pleasure in money.Due to the greed for money, older men have found space to intrude into our students academic journey and roll with our little angels. You won’t miss to hear the word ‘sponyo’ meaning sponsors reffering to this older men.
Availability of too much freedom and leisure-Some University courses do not engage learners fully hence get much time to engage in this vice.As the ancient saying goes ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’
Unhealthy or immature relationships-Most of our children engage in several relationships in the name of love with no purpose. This has caused disagreement between the new relationship and the past reffered to as ‘ma ex’.This is when you get to see men slashing there girlfriends with knives and axes.
The government needs to get a lasting solution to this evil that is finishing our little stars.Parents should be the leading stakeholders to solve this vice.

A GLIMPSE OF KITALE AS A HUB OF TRANS NZOIA COUNTY.

HISTORY OF KITALE TOWN

Kitale town was founded in 1908 by white settlers. A branch line of Uganda railway from Eldoret reached kitale Kenya in 1962 which promoted growth of the town. Its amongst the most diverse towns in the country.

Kitale is an agricultural town in northern rift valley Kenya situated between mount Elgon and cheranganyi hills at an elevation of around 1,900 meters. Kitale has a population of 106,187 as per the last national census of 2009.

The town is strategically located connecting the northern part of Kenya and this is crucial after the discovery of oil in Turkana whose exploration has commenced in ernest.

The sounding area is mainly agricultural meaning that the town is largely a producing town other than consuming town. The main agricultural activities are maize farming, dairy, tea coffee and largely seed multiplication.

Agriculture being the mainstay of the Kenyan economy makes kitale becomes the major catalyst in spurring the Kenyan economic growth by constant provision of the much needed raw materials for industrial need.

ATTRACTIONS IN KITALE KENYA

Kitale is smaller than Eldoret and not much more exciting but has more going for it from a traveller’s point of view primarily the Base for visits to mount Elgon and Saiwa swamp.

REASONS FOR NOT DATING A LADY FROM KITALE NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC.

By : Emmanuel Chege

I have realised nothining last even when you driven by last.It will always come to an end even your best friend will become your enemy.   Will somebody leave, and will continue to live? Sometimes the things we love or the things we have we think we can not live without and the only option is to walk out.

May be to look for better place and best friend to give us peace, or somewhere filled with grace. You dont run from problems or leave them, you look for disconection and do the connection.    Don’t take your life for whatever reason cause some troubles are for a season and there is no sollution from these people at these place infact they negate you and to destroy your life.

Remmember life is a gift not a lift, the greatest human discovery which when gone there is no recovery always use it well and protect it cause somebody you will give an account of it.

Why many KNP college girls are engaging in prostitution.

Why many KNP college girls are engaging in prostitution.

Kitale Town is home to the famous Kitale National polytechnic college. Consequently, the town has seen a boom of youngsters seeking tertiary education institution .

However, some of these students are not in town for education only. There are those who have turned to crime , peddling drugs, prostitution among others .

Why are many girls in knp college around Kitale town engage in this shameful act on the street of the town at night instead of being in evening class preps studying hard to yield a successful future?

Well, according to Mr Kimende counselor and mentor, most of these girls are product of what he termed as ‘ kazi ya ma sponsorship’. Mr Kimende noted that when most girls are dumped by their so called sponsors they end up in engaging in this act of hawking sex to maintain their status quo.

‘’During the sponsorship period ,these girls are exposed to some kind fancy lifestyle that they find hard to maintain after the sponsor withdraws. And because they want to show their fellow colleagues in the college that everything is okey, their next stage becomes prostitution’’ said Mr Kimende.

He added that most of this girl often flock the street on weekends when they are a sure of making a good catch to ‘kill’.

SHOCKING ABOUT STUDENTS IN KITALE POLYTECHNIC

By : levi mateba

Kitale polytechnic students in kitale opened up about the extreme lengths they go through just to make sure their ‘lover’ doesn’t leave.

One is by taking loans to buy their partner’s luxurious gifts. This is mostly seen in male students. Applications like Tala and O’kash have largely benefited from them. Alphine Nyongesa, a third-year student at kitale National Polytechnic said he spends about Sh3,000 a week just to shower his girlfriend with gifts.

“I mostly get this money from my Loans or find a way to extort extra cash from my parents,” said Alphine.

Secondly is doing ‘wifely duties’ like washing clothes, cooking, ironing and general cleaning. As the name suggests, this trick is mostly carried out by ladies.

Susan from Kitale National polytechnic believes that doing household chores for her ‘man’ will make him largely dependent on her.

WHATS EATING KENYA

By : Mwangi Gichuru

Everyone is complaining of jubilee government but this is the new constitution we passed that many of us did not care to read as long as our leader said it was okay. Now we have so many issues not even the wisest doctor can cut into the tissues unless we make adjustments. In the current government we have 1537 MCA’S, 359MP ‘S, six constitutional commissions each with nine commissioners and 47 governors. All this representatives’ require or need salaries which come from taxes. Most of our taxes is going to payments of government officials instead of development projects.

Talking of complains today big projects accomplished are being demolished because they are illegal and I ask, where was the government when this buildings were being built? Investors are being scared away as our vision 2030 still far away. The cost of living is very high as our foreign debts continue going high. Today the price of flour is too high and the government is doing nothing about it and when they were doing the campaigns the price was fair since they needed our votes.

Talking of corruption in this country is a man eats man society. Corruption has become the order of the news coverage in this country. Our courts are not helping to solve this corruption cases due to lack of enough evidence. The jails of this country were made for the poor since when a man in Nauru sold cats meat he was sentenced immediately.

REASON WHY ACHOCOLATE IS BETTET THAN A WOMAN

BY : kamau sammy

chocolate set the heart  pounding, with heart rates  for some of the volunteery rising from a resting rate of about 62 beats per minutes

Eating  chocolate  is more stimulating  to the heart and the head than kissing. It founds that at the point  the chocolate melted in the mouth, all regions of the brain received  about far more intense and longer lasting than the mental excitement from kissing,

Chocolate  never keeps you waiting, it doesn’t  get jealous when you look at another chocolate bar. You  never have to buy a box of chocolates for a box of chocolates  nor it doesn’t expect you to remember the anniversary of the first  time you met never tries to chat up your best friend and isn’t looking for along term commitment,

Here is a wonderful  idea to make a chocolate  Valentine, combine ice-cream, dark chocolate, brownie mixture  and a liqueur to make a wonderful heart shaped, mouth watering  dessert. However the good news is that even if the failure don’t  look elegant, the still taste good thus love is all round for your health heart be my chocolate lover.
