Kitale national polytechnic is a national polytechnic located in trans nzoia county, kitale town along kipsongo road. It is a certified national institution approved by the ministry of education. It is a higher learning institution that offers craft, certificate, diploma and higher diploma courses.
Kitale national polythecnic has a total population of over five thousand students who are regular and part time courses both in craft , certificate , diploma and higher diploma courses. Kitale national ppolythecnic has a total number of ten departments namely business , information and technology, building and civil engineering , automotive engineering, electrical and electronic , agriculture ,hospitality and tourism departments.

Technology is the application of the knowledge and usage of tools such as machines and techniques to control ones environment. Technology is changing from healthcare to education, but in the rural-population is being excluded from these benefits due to lack of electricity infrastructure without which no computer or data network can run.
In kenya we are using technology to create effective solutions to the challenges that we face in healthcare, agriculture and education, and we’re not doing it with big computer processing power but instead we are doing it with mobile phones. Smartphones are increasing rapidly with statistics showing that at least 63% of kenyans own a mobile phone, and experts pointing out that 92% have access to a mobile phone via friends or family. In kenya this growth rate was given a huge boost in the year 2009, when the government abolished the implementation of general sales tax on the purchase of mobile phones, which saw growth in more than 200 percent over the past years .

Kenya is lagging behind with it’s health -focused development goals with low doctor to patient ration preventing healthcare and a public sector healthcare system that is unable to. Cope with a huge number of curative health needs. Through innovation and technology safaricom introduced an application software mDaktari giving kenyans access to professional medical advice, and prevent illness from progressing. Patient can consult doctors through video facilities that are able to read and monitor a patient’s vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiratory rate.In response to mortality and live birth death rates the government through innovation and technology they have introduced a mobile program called KimMNCHip which is a national platform that offers pregnant women more choice, control and care for them and their babies during and after delivery.
In the Agriculture sector many farmers do not work with modern farming equipment or techniques, nor do they have access to the right information. And due to this problem several initiatives have been developed . For example we have an icow program which offers a cow gestation calendar on which farmers register their cows and receive weekly prompt massage related to the pregnancy of each cow . It advises on things like when to check for heat , when to do a pregnancy diagnosis, when to dry off and when to expect calving this innovation has lead to growth in the agricultural sector in Kenya.
in conclusions technology and innovation has changed people’s life.. From rural -population to the other parts of the world. This has easen alot of things from healthcare to education sectors in the country.
I vividly recall the day my mother gave me a slap that almost made me join my ancestors in the world of no return.she had warned me severally against associating with Maggy but I never used to pay attention.The slap she gave me reminds me always to do things that she does not instruct me so that I find myself on the safer side to avoid being cained.
On that fateful day I arrived home so jovial after I had spent my whole day chatting with Maggy and my other pals.Little had I known my mother hated mingling with them,I always sneaked out secretly to have fun with them until late.We used to share alot of things as youths which later annoyed mother. However much my mother told me not to associate with my friends,I gave her a deaf ear since Maggy used to be my best friend since my childhood.
I remember the day I came home drunk and had been escorted by Maggy and some hoys whom we had spent with our day with in a club “Nyagus”. I was asleep and was not aware of anything that was going on.I was given a slap that made me to be awake.I heard her telling my sister ” leta hiyo slippers iko chini ya kitanda,atantambua mimi ni nan”.I pretended to have fainted. I later heard her telling my sister “shika hii pesa umletee coca cola kubwa.Thats when I woke up and told her ” mum sitaki coca cola wacha alete Fanta…She told me she only wanted me to wake up and my sister to come back.I admired to faint again but she already knew my intention
In this present life, we have so many people who call themselves leaders yet they are not. Such people only go to leadership just to show themselves yet they don’t have leadership qualities. They even don’t care about the poor, they use all the money to expand themselves.Such people are too many, when they go to powers, they will humble themselves but after getting Powers they become cruel and even ignore other people.
Let’s see a leader who is having leadership qualities;
1. He/she is time keeping- this one shows that the leader is focused on what he/she is doing.
2. He/she leads from inside out- that leader cares about other people and even accept to suffer because of others
3. He/she is s visionary leader- the leader must know which level he is taking the people
4. The leader must have goals- such leaders must have goals-, therefore have to struggle to attain the goals no matter the hindrances
When the world will have such leaders,we will leave peacefully and there will be no war. This is the time where leader should stop thinking of themselves but care about those people with humble background.This is the time they should stop colonial leadership and love one another. Let’s have peace love and harmony, let’s work as a team and God will bless us.

Golden boots is an annual association football award presented to the leading goalscorer at the premiere league. Other than the award, the topscorer is also awarded some amount of money for each goal scored during the entire season. In the season that has just ended, the 2018_2019 English Premier League, a record-breaking success has been set. This is after the golden boots was shared among three players : Mohammed Sarah Hamed Mahrous an Egyptian , Sadio Mane a Senegalese and Pierre-Emerick Aubumeyang a Gabonese.
Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous , an Egyptian led the squad by first netting twenty two goals in the English Premier League who plays for Liverpool as forward. At anfield several assists have been made by him to his teammates which have led to the shining of the club. Perhaps of the injuries, he recovered and has been in a position to give his best performance.Salah aided his national team to qualify for 2018 FIFA world cup at Rashia where he played most matches before they were kicked out.
On the other hand , Salah’s teammate at English Premier League , Sadio Mane was also not left behind. The Senegalese player and also who is also Liverpool’s winger contributed to the record.He too scored twenty two goals. Through his experience in the football carrier field he has gained from the various trams he has played for other than Liverpool, perseverance of hard times and being self disciplined he was able to do his best performance and became a member of those who shared the golden boots. During the season he also made some assists to teammates as they were playing against big teams like man-city , a club that had wined the previous season with a hundred points. With his passion in his career with high expectations to top the league , they found themselves being the runners up with only one point behind man-city, a club that has now retained the tittle for tow consecutive seasons with ninety eight points.
Pierre_ Emerick Aubumeyang , a Gabonese who was among the joint winners who won the golden boots. He is the Gunner’s, Arsenal’s striker. Being passionate about his carrier and a team worker , twenty two goals were netted by him in the club while playing against various clubs. Through his journey in his carrier he has gained expedience under different coaches and clubs he has been able to play and showed his good game. Since 31 January 2018 when the he came to Fly Emigrates when the transfer window was opened his presence has been of good help.
Though they both played for English Premier League with Salah and Mane under Liverpool Aubumeyang under Arsenal the golden boots are worth for Africa. This is due to the fact that they both have an origin in Africa
